Ministerial Association
Welcome to the Ministerial Association here at CLC! We are a dedicated group of young men and women who are determined to go out and change the world. Whether it is by ministering at a church through songs, worship, prayer, and the Word or visiting people in the hospital, we are here to help bring revival into this lost and dying world!
Music Association
The Music Association is an exciting and dynamic part of the Christian Life College Music program. It affords students the chance to minister in praise and worship, not only in the College services but also in various travel opportunities throughout our state and the nation. The Music Association is a place where novice and experienced musicians work together to bring about an environment of passionate worship and true praise of the Lord Jesus Christ. Regardless of whether you are a musician, vocalist, or someone who simply wants to be involved in music ministry, the music team has a place for you.
Missions Association
The Missions Association of Christian Life College is made up of students who all have one common burden, and that is to see the lost saved through the shed blood and wonderful name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. A further purpose is to show the love of Christ to all through various humanitarian efforts. The Missions Association represents three distinct areas of ministry. They are Home Missions, Multi-Cultural Ministries, and Foreign Missions. The Association is actively involved in weekly evangelism in the greater Stockton area for Christian Life Center, as well as attending local Multi-Cultural Melas and other religious worship centers in the area. With the first semester behind us, the Missions Association is in full swing and will be assisting at numerous Multi-Cultural conferences in the Bay area such as the Ethiopian, Spanish, and Middle Eastern Conferences. Next month, fifteen members of our student body will be heading to Tampico, Mexico, where they will spend eight days ministering, evangelizing, and teaching the Word of God. Likewise, in the area of Home Missions, the Missions Association is planning on going to Los Angeles for a couple of days in April to assist at a Home Missions church with evangelism and various outreach and humanitarian works. The Missions Association members are zealous to make an impact locally, as well as internationally, for the cause of Christ.
The purpose of going on mission trips is to change lives, build faith, and bring hope to the people. That purpose was accomplished on the trips to Monterrey, Mexico, and San Salvador, El Salvador, in Feb. 2008.
The El Salvador team painted the UPCI medical clinic and Bible college, went out with the mobile medical clinic, and climbed up a mountain for two and a half hours to minister in the church.
The Mexico team hosted several park services and had church under a busy highway bridge. They even held a church service at a circus!
Both teams were in church nearly every night. Several people were baptized in Jesus’ name and filled with the Holy Ghost. Many sick people received healing.
These teams worked hard to bring the gospel to lost souls and to minister to the body of Christ. A huge thank-you goes to Christian Life Center for giving me the opportunity to be part of the mission trips this year. Because of the saints’ sacrificial giving, a great impact on eternity was made. Thank you!!
Creative Arts Association
The Creative Arts Association at Christian Life College is dedicated and passionate about using our creativity, expressions, and imagination in a way that promotes and extols the wonderful attributes of God and His unfailing love for every single person. We believe in the powerful impact of visualizing a message or story and how much it can change an individual’s life. Therefore, we do our best to use the gifts and tools that God has given us in order to help encourage and edify the Body of Christ. It is our mission to do what we can to reach the lost and help prepare the hearts of the hungry to receive God’s Word. So, with every skit that we present, with every song we sign, and with every drama we perform, it is our hope they will make a difference in the lives of the people that we are blessed to encounter and minister to.
Deaf Ministry Association
The Deaf Ministry Association provides a forum where students can develop their knowledge of American Sign Language and cultivate further appreciation for the need for interpreters and community engagement in both public and ministry contexts. The Deaf Ministry Association endeavors to help students bridge the cultural and linguistic gap between the deaf and hard of hearing community and the church. The mission of the Deaf Ministry Association will be achieved by seeking active involvement from participating students with local deaf and hard of hearing communities and ministry opportunities.
